Last time we summarized the 3 simple steps for achieving success in network marketing. In this blog, we will be talking about WHAT exactly needed to be done to get good results.
As Jerry ‘DRhino’ Clark and many successful network marketers say, this is a SIMPLE business. The essential activities that can bring people into your organization is to PROMOTE what you are doing.
If you have been in the business for a while, you may have heard people say TTP (Talk To People) and that networking marketing is a ‘Number’s Game’. I know for sure that simply talking to people is not going to work! Most people start with great enthusiasm and practically ‘drowned’ all the people they talked to! In my very first year in network marketing, I was excited about the efficacy of the products and the business opportunity. I consistently promoted the products or opportunity to many of my friends and relatives. What happened? After one year in network marketing, NO-ONE joined! I felt rejected and hurt because I was taking people’s responses personally.
To avoid this pitfall, you have to learn to Talk To People (TTP) professionally. This means that you have to totally put aside your own agenda (no matter how hourable that may be) – helping others to get quality products, introducing others to a wonderful opportunity, sharing the health information and testimonials, etc. That is, instead of focusing on what you want to achieve, focus on listening to others and finding out what the other person wants.
